"Welcome to the real world.. It sucks.. you are gonna love it" said famous philosopher Monica from the American SitCom F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
"There are no free lunches" said some other comedian..
Frankly, nothing else in the world can summarize the harsh reality of survival.
Real world is soo complex :/ And it took me 22 years to realize that.. While all the others pray for what I already have, I am incapable of completing what I have!
Universe works in mysterious ways.. Just when I start liking something, it throws me in the valleys of deep shit showing me the other side of the coin.. only to lose and then realize it's value..
It is the time I have to rethink my decisions and plans. I have this peculiar or may be weird habit of watching the moon on full moon nights.. And I observe the waxing and waning of the moon everyday.. This habit of mine is a reminder that this lifestyle, these opportunities, these chances are to be cherished. Not everyone has the luck or time or even the opportunity to do what I have. And that I am lucky. While many around me are lost in the struggles of survival, I am here, reading.. Thinking. Ideating (if that is even a word 😝😜)
(and also writing senseless discussion notes and term papers. many exams and many more presentations. This is the other side or simply the realistic way of saying how you do a PhD)
